What Is Foamseal?

Foamseal 200 is a 2-part polyurethane foam spray system for both professional and DIY use on the building-site or around the home.

Foamseal stengthens, seals and insulates - inside and out.

The same product (but under another brand name) has enormous usage in America but it is only now that foamseal is available to you in the UK. Foamseal fits the considerable gap between aerosol-applied foam at the bottom end and Renotherm spray-applied foam for roofs at the top end. As a product, it is much closer to Renotherm, but offers self-contained portability for DIY applications. It differs markedly from aerosol foam by being several times stronger, denser and a far superior insulator, by not absorbing water and by being precision-applied by applicator gun.

FLOOD PROTECTION

Superior results

Several times the strength and a far superior insulator compared to aerosol foam.

Great value
No waste from drying-up due to unique gun and nozzle system

Economical
One pack gives a high yield of 200 square feet of foam at 1 inch depth.

Saves time
Fully cured in minutes due to exothermic reaction.

Versatile
Easy to cut, saw, sand, plaster and paint.

Closed cell formulation
Doesn’t absorb water

Simple to use
No need to dampen surface since 2-part system

CFC-free and hypoallergenic
Meets Montreal Protocol. No noxious vapours or fumes once cured

Convenient
Foamseal has a long shelf-life of 2 years unopened and 3 months opened

Excellent water vapour resistivity
(400MN.s/g.m) Creates its own vapour check

FOAMSEAL...

Bonds

Foamseal forms a strong bond to wood, brick, metal, concrete, roofing felt and most plastics.

Seals
Foamseal expands to fill the area into which it is sprayed, bonding with the substrate and completely sealing any gaps.

Waterproofs
Foamseal does not absorb water. It also has excellent water vapour resistance so acts as a permanent barrier to water penetration.

Strengthens
Since Foamseal bonds to the structure and has a great rigidity, it confers strength to the structure on which it is used.

Insulates
Foamseal’s extraordinary insulation properties enable it to be used as a superior alternative to fibreglass and pre-formed insulation boards since it leaves no gaps and does not absorb water. The result is less heat loss, lower heating costs and lower CO2 emissions.
