Insulating and stablising
cavity walls
The Foamseal Technitherm cavity wall stabilisation and insulation system is approved for use in masonry walls in all exposure zones.
Foamseal Technitherm can be used in constructions which otherwise cannot receive conventional fibre or bead insulation, which include:
• Walls with a narrow cavity width
• Random stone walls
• High-rise buildings
• Non-traditional constructions
• Walls suffering from wall tie failure
It is used to restore the structural stability and reduce the thermal transmittance of existing cavity walls in which the conventional wall ties have corroded. It is also used in new masonry cavity wall construction where the better thermal performance helps meet the requirements for the Code For Sustainable Homes.
Foamseal Technitherm is also very effective in eliminating unwanted air leakage and assists greatly in helping to meet air pressure tests. The superb insulation value of the foam and its ability to seal without shrinkage or gaps make it the most efficient cavity insulation material available today.
